Black Family Genealogy and History Society

The association was established in 1991.  They now have a Chapter in Sun Lakes and meetings are held in the library of Oakwood Clubhouse.

Old Newsletters dating from 2005 to 2008 are available on the site.

Caledonian Society of Arizona

Celtic Associations have celebrated Scottish culture and presented Scottish Highland Games since 1964.

They provide details of their events and have a section which is dedicated to the Highland Games.  

They also host The Glenmorangie Scottish Gathering and Highland Games and has done for more than half a century.  It is possible to purchase tickets to this event through their site.

It is also possible to peruse copies of their publication The Desert Highlander from February 2010 to January 2015.

Lake Havasu Genealogical Society

Numerous resources, which include books, CD-ROMs, microfiche and microfilm are accessible in their library.  Documents include:

Pima County Genealogy Society

Information regarding sites that may be useful if you wish to research your genealogy in Arizona is accessible. A list of other Genealogy sites, some of which relate to England and Wales, are accessible.

Southern Arizona Genealogy Society

The association was established in 1976 as Green Valley Genealogical Society, its aim being to promote and encourage family history research by using educational programs and by exchanging genealogical data between members.

The society has a library where many resources are available, which include:

Sun City Vistoso Genealogical Society

An online catalogue of books available within their two rooms at the Vistoso Center is on their site.  These rooms are known as The Family History Education and Research Centre.  Some resources relate to England and Wales.

West Valley Genealogical Society

The association was established in 1972, its aim being to research, record and share genealogical information.  It started with 36 charter members but now has over 700.  

An on-line catalogue is on their site, some of the resources relating to England and Wales.  Details of Obituaries from 1963 to date is also available, which can be searched on the site.
