Countrywide Societies
The Australasian Association of Genealogists and Record Agents
The association was founded in 1977. Their aim is to compile a list of genealogists and record agents. They then pass this information to people who want to have genealogical research undertaken professionally.
AAGRA members carry out research in many parts of the World, such as British Isles, but specialise in the States and Territories in Australia, including:
- Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
- New South Wales (NSW)
- Norfolk Island (NFI)
- Northern Territory (NT)
- Queensland (QLD)
- South Australia (SA)
- Tasmania (TAS)
- Victoria (VIC)
- Western Australia (WA)
It also covers all regions of New Zealand.
