Cornwall Family History Society was founded in 1976, its aim being to encourage Cornish Genealogical Research.
They publish a quarterly journal and have transcribed and indexed over 5 million records. They have a library which is based in Truro.

Polperro Family History Society was founded in 2002, and now has over 250 members.
