Newfoundland and Labrador Family History Society
The association was founded in 1984 and incorporated in 1987.
Many archives can be accessed in their Resource Centre, which incorporate:
- Cemetery Transcriptions
- Census Returns
- Directories
- Family and Community Histories (An Index is available on the site)
- Parish Records
- Periodicals
Some resources relate to other Canadian Provinces and further afield, such as England and Wales.
Cemetery Transcriptions are on the site, but please note access is restricted to Members Only. Tables of Contents for the Society’s quarterly journal The Newfoundland Ancestor are also available on the site.
Numerous publications are available for sale, which include:
