This section lists the societies of Tasmania, giving details about each one and what resources and publications they offer.
Tasmanian Family History Society
The association was founded in 1980. They have created the 2nd edition of the Tombstone and Memorial Inscriptions of Tasmania(TAMIOT) which is available on either microfiche or CD-ROM. For further information about the index and cemeteries included, please visit their TAMIOT page.
They have branches throughout Tasmania, including Hobart, Launceston and Mersey, which have their own sites. They also have branches in Burnie and Huon.
